My work experience placement was with BBC 3 Counties Radio, a station that covers Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. During my two weeks I found myself working in all different departments with

My role was to report and investigate on news topics that were relevant to the 3 counties and write up a story so that it could then be broadcast on air that same day! One moment that I will always cherish after my w
8、ork experience is the nervous excitement I felt after writing up a report on my first day and hearing it produced live on the Breakfast Show the following morning! This was a real highlight for me and gave me the confidence and drove to write more reports that were also broadcast on different shows.
9、One of the key reasons why I felt my work experience exceeded my already skyhigh expectations was that every day was different. During my two weeks I found out myself in the field reporting on a story or in the studio helping to produce a live show. This variation not only made each working day a ne
10、w adventure, but also meant I never had a moment when I had nothing to do.I found my work experience at the BBC invaluable and gave me more knowledge about Radio production and in the field of Broadcast Journalism.
