1、Unit 3 Australia第一部分金色教案教学设计说明About the topic and the structures单元话题和结构本单元的话题是“澳大利亚”,了解有关澳洲的地理、旅游动物等方面的知识。澳大利亚联邦(Commonwealth of Australia),简称澳大利亚或澳洲,是全球面积第六大国家,也是大洋洲最大的国家。澳大利亚所在的大陆是地球上最小的一块大陆,通常也被称为澳洲或澳洲大陆。东南方是新西兰、北方有巴布亚新几内亚、西巴布亚和东帝汶,印度尼西亚位于澳大利亚的西北方。“澳大利亚”一词来自拉丁语中的“terra australis incognita”(“未知的南方

2、大陆”)。本单元还将学习“词语、短语、不定式和从句作表语”。金色教案教学设计在单元课时划分上与课本保持一致,即“阅读课、知识课、运用课三课时/三课型划分”。但在实际教学过程中,我们建议教师依据学生基础、教学条件、学校安排的因素,对课本、对金色教案教学设计重新划分课时、裁剪、拼接使用我们提供的材料,以便“物尽所用”,达到最佳教学效果。教师也可以按照我们提出的“实际教学过程课时划分建议”进行教学。Period 1Reading 阅读课Warming Up 教师可以从“了解澳洲”、“看图说话”和“听国歌”三种热身形式选择一种导入新课,激发背景知识、为其后的阅读作好词语、结构和心理的准备。Pre-re

3、ading主要是通过朗读活动帮助学生熟悉课文,为其后的阅读做心理的铺垫和准备。Reading是篇说明文,说明澳大利亚的地理、风俗、旅游和动物。教师应引导学生从语言形式入手学习课文,进而理解意义。我们提供的“表格”、“结构图”等,都可以帮助学生理解词语、把握结构、理解课文。补充:澳大利亚全国有多种自然景观,其中包括迷人的热带雨林,被称为“红色中央”的干燥贫瘠的沙漠,白雪皑皑的山峰,绵羊遍野的牧场以及引人入胜的海滨,还有驰名遐迩的天然遗产大堡礁和乌卢鲁岭(原称艾尔斯岭)。 Period 2Learning about language 知识课Learning about language首先仿写学
