2、h II.When it has finished its journey,it will have been passed between more than 7,500 bearers across the Commonwealth.It will also have travelled 90,000 miles around the world!The baton has been on an incredible journey so far.It has even captured something special in each country using a 360-degre
3、e camera attached to it.After leaving London,the baton passed through Cyprus and Malta before beginning its journey through Africa.While there,it was hosted by 19 countries,including Nigeria,Ghana and Cameroon.During its visit to Zambia,it witnessed Victoria Falls.The waterfall boasts the largest fa
4、lling sheets of water in the world.On Christmas Eve in the Seychelles,the baton was joined by 40 hiking Santas.The baton spent New Year in the Maldives where it witnessed a fireworks show and a beach clean the following day.In January,the baton travelled across Southeast Asia visiting Singapore wher
5、e it witnessed the worlds tallest indoor waterfall,the Rain Vortex.The baton then travelled to the Pacific Islands,including the smallest island in the Commonwealth-Nauru.It then journeyed to New Zealand and Australia.In New Zealand,the baton took a ride in a waka-a traditional Kiwi canoe.The baton
6、spent two months travelling around the Caribbean and Americas visiting places such as Jamacia and Barbados.During its visit to the Cayman Islands,the baton was taken within touching distance of stingrays!The baton has just arrived in Canada where it will stay until 31st of May when it travels onward
