Richard Sears and Nick Gough traveled 37,500 kilometers around the world and passed through 37 countri

They did this to support the grassroots education project in Africa, Asia and South America.The pair, who set off from London, thought their expedition was over when the vehicle started to fail. When the tuktuk broke, they were only 70 kilometers from their destination. They decided to pull it t

3、he rest of the way. The tuktuk, which weighs 800 kilograms, was pulled in turns by Richard and Nick over three days. On arrival in Chepen, Peru, they discovered a mechanic who specialized in tuktuks and managed to fix it.The pair were back on the road and aiming for their next goal. Along their jour

4、ney they had to tackle deserts and jungles. They also survived close encounters with elephants in Uganda and Botswana and an accident in Malaysia. The greatest hardship on the tuktuk was the mountain ranges lying in their path, including the Alps, the Himalayas and the Andes.Nick and Richard uncover

They worry that people wont be able to display the right emotion or tone in conversations because they havent been practising those ski

Others fear that machines will take over the functions that were traditionally performed by humans, such as customer service.Another concern often associated with the development of new technology is the invasion of privacy. When people use certain speech recognition applications, they leave be

15、hind an audio track of their speech. When you ask a VPA for directions, your speech is often sent to a remote server and saved for processing. This digital information may lead to data mining, or the collection of large quantities of personal data.For now, however, the continuing evolution of ASR so
