1、Unit14 教材解读1.0 Textbook Analysis教材解读本单元以“在校时光(School days)”为话题,旨在通过回忆过去初中生活中的人,事和对未来的期盼,让学生珍惜初中生活的点滴,心怀感恩之情,同时展望未来高中生活以及树立远大人生目标。Section A部分在内容上,通过聚会图片展开回忆初中生活的对话,紧接着通过角色扮演对话和诗歌形式来讲述初中生活的点滴。在语言上,让学生回顾加深对几种时态,used to do and look forward to doing sth.句式以及固定搭配的理解及运用。在情感上,让学生珍惜初中阶段的美好时光。Section B部分讨论话题“

2、What do you hope to do in the future?”以及初中毕业典礼阅读材料。由谈论过去的中学生活转向对未来的展望。在语言上,进一步综合训练Section A部分所复习的语言项目,加强训练学生准确描述过去并展望未来的能力。在技能上,则由听,说,读转向更为综合性的听,说,读,写训练。本单元知识学习和能力训练交互进行,与学生生活实际紧密相连,有利于提高英语学习的热情。1.1 Section A 1a 活动1a是Lead-in部分。通过图中两个初中毕业生的对话,激活学生关于谈论初中生活的背景知识,同时导入本单元的核心话题之一回顾过去时光,练习动词remember+doing的

3、用法。1.2 Section A 1b-1c 活动1b-1c是Listening and speaking部分。活动1b 通过与1a图片中相匹配的听力练习,让学生再次熟悉“在校时光”这一话题,并激发学生表达自己回忆和体验的愿望。1c活动让学生谈论并与伙伴分享自己各自的过去经历,在复习动词词组的基础上复习现在完成时态,锻炼学生语言交流能力和小组合作能力。1.3 Section A 2a-2c 活动2a-2c是Listening and Speaking部分。活动2a和2b是另一组听说练习,听力对话内容继续回忆初中生活,还通过What are going to do after you gradu

5、3b的练习,了解英语诗歌的押韵。 1.6 Section A 4a-4b 活动4a-4b是Summary部分。通过多种方式的设题,旨在对“语法聚焦”中关于一般过去时,现在完成时,一般将来时,现在进行时,宾语从句以及used to结构内容的操练。活动4a使用排列的方法培养学生理解能力和逻辑思维能力;活动4b使用回答问题的方法巩固学生的读和写的能力。1.7Section B 1a-1b 活动1a-1b是Leading-in and warming-up部分。活动1a-1b谈论的话题转向学生对未来的展望,并对1c-1d中听力讨论的相关话题进行语言铺垫。1.8 Section B 1c-1e 活动1c

25、r own choices. 8) Although you have to go your separate ways now, I hope that in a few years time, youll come back to visit our school.4.0 Textbook Integration教材整合4.1 教材整合建议根据本单元的特点和学生本身的知识与能力实际,建议将本单元教材内容做以下整合及安排。当然,也可以根据自己学生的实际情况再做整合与调整。 4.1.1口语听力课 从话题内容和功能上分析,Section A 1a-1c和Section B 1a-2e可以整合成一

26、节围绕如何回顾,分享初中时光并展望高中生活的口语与听力课,通过Section A 1a的学习,让学生正确使用一般过去时态和现在完成时态与同伴回顾过去的经历。为1b,2a,2b能听懂关于谈论过去经历的听力材料做好铺垫。而听力的练习和听力材料的学习对于1c,2c的对话操练,也丰富了词汇以及语言结构。活动1c-1e是听说活动,将话题从回顾分享校园时光过渡到展望未来。这样的整合,始终围绕回顾初中时光,展望未来这一主题,培养学生听,说,读的能力。 4.1.2 语言学习课 整合Section A 2d和Section A 3a-3c的内容,构成一节语言学习课,2d的角色扮演对话练习,输入了更加丰富的语言内

27、容。Section A 3a-3c在学习新知的基础上,让学生初步了解英语诗歌的格式及押韵,并体会英语诗歌的意境。该部分与单元主题紧密相扣,通过回忆三年学习生活的点点滴滴,让学生珍惜初中生活的点滴,心怀感恩之情。 4.1.3 语法梳理课 整合Grammar Focus,Section A 4a-4c的内容,结合初中阶段所学的一般过去时态,一般现在时态,一般将来时态,现在完成时态,used to do sth.以及宾语从句,构成一节语法梳理课,以此来归纳总结这几种语言现象。当然,根据学生具体情况,可以适当增加课时。 4.1.4阅读训练课 从教材编排来考虑,可以将Section B 2a-2e进行有

28、效整合,可以与Section B 2a,2b一起整合为阅读教学的Pre-reading。使整节课形成阅读教学的Pre-reading、While-reading、Post-reading的任务活动链。可以将2a、2b整合到Pre-reading环节,完成读前准备和辨别所阅读文章的文体这一阅读策略。2c整合到While-reading环节,训练学生Skimming、scanning、close reading以及summarizing的阅读技巧,培养学生把握整体结构,理解具体信息的阅读理解能力。2d是用来操练,巩固本课中的重点词汇和短语。2e是Post-reading的读后交流活动。4.1.5 复习写作课 Section B 3a-3b和Self Check是一节复习与写作课。 3a通过回答一系列问题帮助学生梳理重点内容,并用所作记录为3b的写作做好铺垫。3b根据3a所作记录写一篇以初中生活中难忘的人或事情为主题的短文。Self Check侧重训练表达情感的形容词和各种时态下动词的运用,从而复习相应的时态。4.2 课时分配建议课型1 Listening and Speaking 课型2 Language learning 课型 3 Grammar learning 课型4 Reading Comprehension 课型5 Reviewing and Writing
