The National Development and Reform Commission has unveiled a new natural gas policy, which it says is designed to optimize Chinas energy structure and cut carbon emissions.Urban areas and certain industrial sectors are going to be given priority to use clean energy.The government is also looking to focus clean energy in the transport sector, particularly through the use of liquefied natural gas.For more on the new natural gas policy, CRIs Peter Smith spoke earlier with Zhou Dadi, former Director of the Energy Research Institute with the National Development and Reform Commission.
