、ed6.toiling7.strategy8.personnel9.disagreement10.statesman.1.Bencouraged感到鼓励的;encouraging令人感到鼓励的。

in a state of excitement处于兴奋状态;in a state of

The black fighter pilots of Benjamin Davis, Jr. distinguished themselves throughout the wa

A.demanding 要求、需要;B.commanding 指挥、控制;C.assuring 确信、放心;D.enjoy 享受的乐趣、欣赏、喜欢,和savoring 意义近似, 故可入选。 A.

、ercent of all war deaths were of black, even though blacks constitute only 11 percent of all Americans. We dont know if either story is true. President Jackson had very little education. he had difficulty reading

、and writing. 第二段最后两句so what he really wrote was “ol korect”After a while, he shortened that term to “OK”可知答案为C项。 Van Burens friends organized a club to help him become President. They called the club the Old Kinderhood Club and anyone who supported Van Buren was called O

、K. .1.Our soldiers will be armed with the advanced arms.2.The work done, we went home.3.I failed the test despite studying all night.4.He managed to climb to the top of the mountain, from where he could overlook the beauty of the city.5.He denied that he was involved in the mine explosion.
