11、o me yesterday.昨天邮递员拿给我的。bring sth. to sb./some place 把某物带给某人/带到某处。例句:Dont forget to bring your homework to school.别忘了把作业带到学校。辨析:bring 、take、get与carry都有“携带、运送“之意,但它们用法各异。bring意为“拿来”、“带来”是指某物或某人从别处带到说话者所在的地方来,动作由远及近。 Dont forget to bring it here. 不要忘记带到这来。take为“带去”、“拿走”之意,指人或物从说话人所在地带到别处去,动作由近及远。 Can

12、 you take these books to the classroom? 你能把这些书带到教室吗? get意为“拿”、“取”指说话人所在地出发,把人或物带回原处,表示动作的往返。 Can you get me some water? 你能给我那杯水吗?“carry表示运载、携带之意,运送的方式很多,可以用车、船,也可以用手甚至用头;强调动作的移动性,不强调方向。 He often carries water for the old man. 他经常为老人提水。3、The style is in fashion here in China。fashion在此处指“(服装)时尚;时髦”,其形

13、容词为fashionable,意为“时髦的,流行的”。be in fashion时尚,流行be out of fashion不再流行,过时The girlS clothes are always in fashion,but very cheap这个女孩的衣服总是很时髦,但是很便宜。Do you know the fashion this year? 你知道今年流行什么吗?4、I laughed and laughed when I saw it。当我看到它时就会笑个不停。laughed and laughed意为“笑了又笑”。and为并列连词,连接两个相同的成分,and连接两个动词时表示动作

16、、煤气、电源等),反义词turn on“打开”。turn down意为(把收音机的音量、灯)关小、调低,反义词turn up 调高。 turn over翻过来 turn to翻到这些短语中on,off,up,down, over均为副词,后接宾语和代词时,应为于它们的前面。例句: Please turn off/on the radio. 请把收音机关上(打开)。 Please turn on the light. 请打开灯。 The radio is very loud. Can you turn it down a little, please? 收音机声音太大,你能调小一点吗? She
