1、Unit 5 What does he do教学设计(Period 6)一、教材内容分析本课是人教新版小学英语六年级上册第五单元的第六课时,是一节单元复习课。本课共有两个部分,第一部分为Lets check,包括听力匹配活动和听录音完成句子。通过活动的完成,检查学生对本单元核心词汇和句型的掌握情况,培养学生总结归纳所学知识点的方法和习惯。第二部分为Lets wrap it up,是对本单元中学生易混淆的一个知识点的归纳与总结,已整合到B部分Lets talk的学习中。Story time虽为本单元的选修内容,基于六年级学生的认知水平,所以本节课将Story time作为第二部分,通过阅读趣味故

2、事,让学生了解一些不寻常的职业,增加学生语言的输入,拓展学生的职业视野。二、学生情况分析学生已初步掌握日常生活中一些常见的有关职业的词汇和谈论有关职业和生活的基本、英语表达法,但针对学生缺乏复习方法的系统性和整体逻辑性,所以,本课的复习内容我主要采用任务型教学法并结合思维导图的形式来展开复习、检测、巩固和归纳。三、教学目标知识目标1.复习巩固和运用本单元所学核心词汇和句型。2.完成Lets check部分练习。3.能在图片的帮助下理解故事内容。技能目标:1.能在情境中运用所学词汇和句型描述、谈论人物的职业和生活情况。2.学会总结的方法,养成及时总结、归纳所学知识的习惯。情感目标:拓展学生的职业

3、视野,让学生从不同的视角认识职业。四、教学重难点教学重点:1.引导学生复习巩固和总结运用本单元所学核心词汇和句型。2.引导学生从图片、问题等信息中推测考查点,做出听前预测。3.让学生了解unusual job的概念,介绍了更多新奇、有趣的工作,增加学生语言的输入,拓展学生的职业视野。教学难点:1.教给学生总结、归纳知识点的方法,培养学生的总结、归纳知识的习惯。2.引导学生从图片、问题等信息中推测考查点,做出听前预测。五、教学步骤1. Greeting & WarmingLets greet to each other as usual. Then well sing the songWhat

4、do you want to do?together for warming and revision.设计意图:通过师生之间的greeting和singing增进情感、创设英语学习氛围,调动学生学习的兴致,同时,让学生在歌曲中再现、复习了本单元有关职业的重点词汇和常用表达法,为接下来的教学活动做了一定铺垫。2. HomeworkTalk with your parents about “What are you going to be?” and “What are you going to do for it?”设计意图:通过家庭作业的形式,把有关“职业”的课内学习延伸到课外,将书本知识与自己的生活实际和学生学习现状紧密联系起来,让家长共同参与学生职业梦想的规划,帮助学生分析从事某种职业应具备的条件,帮助学生合理构思自己的职业梦想并制定努力的方向。同时,达到学以致用的目的。
