3C第一空用amazed(惊异的,惊奇的)来描述人(visitors);第二空用amazing(令人吃惊的)来描述物(love story)。 be worth doing值得做某事,主动形式表被动含义;advise sb.to do sth.

would have done表示与过去事情相反的假设;should have done表示本来应该干某事而实际未干;must have done表示必定/一定。

remove“移动,搬开”,remove.from. fetch“去取”;get“得到”;bring“带来”。

.1.Din the world“在世界上”。 2Adescribe“描述”,describe.as.“把描述成”。

8Dthe Altar of the Sun“日坛”。 12Dmaking the heavenlike structures“建造这种天体样的结构”。13Bmake good use of为固定短语,“充分利用”。

文章开头“The Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City,.” 第一段第三句“The construction took 14 years and was finished in 1420.”

.1.They cant have gone out because the lights on.2He gave her some roses in return for her kindness.3.Last year,we had the house rebuilt.4It is less than a year since he began to study English.5.No doubt we shall succeed by ourselves.
