1、Unit 1 Stay HealthyLesson 1: Whats Wrong, Danny?一、概述本课是冀教版第五册第一单元的第一课。本单元的话题是保持健康。本课是一个长篇对话,讲的是Danny晚饭后甜点吃了10个面包圈,导致胃疼,凌晨三点钟叫醒父母,父亲迅速穿衣带他去医院看医生的故事,对话分两个场景家里和医院,通过本课学习使学生掌握看医生的用语。九年级的学生具有一定的英语学习基础,对英语有较强的兴趣,有较好的语言交际技能,思维活跃,有表现欲。他们在七八年级时就已经学了一些就医用语,如:Whats wrong with you? I have a headache. My stomach

2、 hurts.等,再学本课应该比较容易。我讲课时运用了网上的教学资源和教参附带的教学光盘,先用一首flash歌曲热身,活跃课堂气氛,复习身体部位,顺着歌里的那个Poor boy讨论Think About It中的When you dont feel well, what do you usually do?。接着设计了一个非常简单的听力问题Whats wrong with Danny?让学生由易入手进入本课学习,然后快速读课文,找出问题答案,了解对话大意,再利用PPT教授生词和短语。通过观看一段光盘中的视频,激发学生的兴趣,再进行对话角色扮演,归纳总结就医用语,然后利用PPT图片提供的情境编对

3、话,对本课所学语言进行活用、提升,最后再做一篇听力练习,让学生张弛有度,轻松完成本课学习任务。二、教学目标1.知识与技能(1)掌握词汇及短语:stomach, regret doing, have a fever, pale, examination, pardon, take an X-ray。(2)能够运用所学知识就看医生的话题进行对话,训练学生听说读写的技能。2.过程与方法(1)能够通过师生说、生生说和自主听读体验交际式英语教学的一般过程,掌握英语说听的基本方法;(2)能够通过小组对话练习,体验合作学习的过程和方法;(3)能够仔细倾听老师和同学的发言,有语言表达和与同学交流的愿望。3情感

4、态度与价值观鼓励学生用英语表达自己的想法,表现自己,培养学生学习英语的自信和勇 气以及小组合作意识。三、教学资源1冀教版九年级英语教材2网络资源;配套教学光盘四、教学重点:学习本课就医词汇和用语,并能够适时加以运用。五、教学难点:学生能够根据所学知识生成新对话。六、教学过程Class openingT: Good morning, class. Would you like to listen to a song? The song I will play is very easy. You can sing along with it and point to your body parts

5、.用一首英语歌曲活跃课堂气氛,让学生在欣赏歌曲的同时,复习身体部位的单词和就医用语。(Doctor, Doctor) (歌曲用时2分钟) T: Is it interesting? Yes. Poor boy! He has to go to see a doctor. When you dont feel well, what do you usually do? (Think About It)T:Today, your friend Danny has to see a doctor, too. Listen: Whats wrong with Danny? (出示课题)学生听一小段录音

6、,回答问题。Step 1:ReadingT: Yes, his stomach hurts. But do you know why? OK. Read the dialogue quickly and try to find the answers of the four questions. (出示问题Lets Do It Ex.1)学生快速默读课文,找出问题答案。Step 2: VocabularyT: Danny is ill. He has got a pain in his stomach. He also has a fever. He looks pale. He regret

7、s eating so many donuts. His father gets dressed quickly to drive him to the hospital. Danny needs to have an examination and take an X-ray. Pardon me. 8、how you a video to help you understand the dialogue. Pay attention to the new words and expressions while watching. (播放视频)学生观看教学光盘中的视频,充分理解本课对话的意思,并注意新单词和结构的运用。T: Listen to the recording. Read aloud with it. Please do your best to imitate the pronunciation and intonation. (播放录音)学生听录音跟读,注意模仿录音中的语音语调。

9、Step 4: Role-playT: Now, class. We can divide the whole dialogue into two sections-at home and in the hospital. Focus on Section 2. Lets role-play. Get into groups of four. Each group member will take one role. You may use your imagination to create. OK, practice.学生四人一组分角色练习对话,重点是在医院的场景,学生可以创新,然后呈现出

10、来。Step 5: SummaryT: When you see a doctor, what may the doctor ask? What may you answer? And the doctor may say.学生在教师指导下总结本课所学的重点知识(就医用语),并结合以前所学知识进行拓展。Step 6: EnhancementT: Look at these pictures. Work in pairs. Please make up a dialogue. One person can be the doctor, and the other can be the patie

11、nt. You can use the expressions we summed up.学生利用图片提供的情境,两人一组进行编对话练习,运用所学知识生成新的对话,然后呈现。Step 7: ListeningT: Lets listen to another story. Its about a sick woman. Listen and tick the correct answers.学生听录音,完成Lets Do It Ex. 2。Step 8: HomeworkT: Write a passage. Retell the story about Danny. Remember to

12、use the new words and phrases, and the Simple Past Tense. At the same time we can also take a lesson from Danny. Dont eat too much. Another piece of work, write a letter to Danny.
