5、t等。这些名词前可用great,no,little等修饰,以表示不同程度。(2)当“ofn.”结构中的名词表种类、数量、度量等时,表示不同的人或物的共同特征,此时名词前通常常用的冠词:size/type/kind/price/height/depth/length/weight/age/shape/colour等。2【教材原句】We must update our packaging in order to attract more young customers.(P13)我们必须更新包装以吸引更多年轻顾客。【句法分析】in order to“目的是,为了”,作状语,可以置于句首,又可置于句

6、后。(1)so as to引导的不定式短语一般置于句中,不可放于句首。(2)只用to do也可作目的状语,句首,句后皆可。(3)in order to和so as to的否定形式分别是in order not t o和so as not to。(4)in order to和so as to后只能接动词原形,目的状语从句可用in order that或so thatHe spoke loudly so that he could be heard.= He spoke loudly in order that he could be heard.= He spoke loudly in orde

7、r to be heard.= He spoke loudly so as to be heard.= In order to be heard, he spoke loudly.= He spoke loudly to be heard.3. 【教材原句】It is time to decide what you want the audience toknow or think about. (P18)是你决定你想让观众知道什么或考虑什么的时候了。【句法分析】It is time to do sth 该到什么时间做It is time (for sb) to do It is time (

8、that) +从句 It is time +从句,从句的谓语动词应用过去式或should + 动词原形, 且should 不能省。It is the first/second/third time (that) +从句,从句的谓语动词应用现在完成时。It/ This/ That was the first/second/third time(that)+ 从句,从句的谓语动词应用过去完成时4. 【教材原句】Not all ads play tricks on us though.
