1、Module 6 Films and TV ProgrammesPeriod OneIntroduction; Reading and VocabularyThe General Idea of This PeriodThis period includes Introduction as well as Reading and Vocabulary. Introduction can serve as a warming up of the class. To make Ss fully prepared for the study of the passage, the teacher m

2、ay encourage the Ss to talk about the film Harry Potter, which leads to Reading and Vocabulary. The reading passage is a film review which mainly represents to us the Chinese martial arts film, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. It is suggested that Ss should first skim the reading passage and get the

3、general idea of each paragraph and then join them into a short passage. If necessary, deal with some difficult language points. Teaching Aims 1) Vocabularies about films and TV programmes: actor, actress, adventure film, argue, channel, character, chat show, come out, comedy, crime, desert, direct,
