1、Book 8 Unit1课题:Book8 Unit1综合技能课一、教学内容分析本单元主要围绕具有多元文化的美国这一主题展开,其中重点介绍了加利福尼亚州的多元文化特征。本单元有助于培养学生的跨文化交际意识,进一步拓宽国际视野,为终身学习奠定良好基础。本节课这一单元的第五节课,学完本单元基础知识和课文之后对于学生的reading,speaking and writing的综合技能提高训练。教学内容是让学生了解描述地点的词汇和表达方式,并能介绍一个自己熟悉的城市景点。二、教学目标1 学生能够阅读获取描述旅游景位置、大小、人口、历史、著名景点等方面的信息和相关语言2 学生能从地理位置,历史,著名景点等

2、方面口头描述阅读材料中的旅游城市。3 学生能够在教师的引导下,归纳并有运用所学词汇,句型及相关信息完成描述性的写作任务三、学情分析学生已经具备了一定的用英语获取信息,处理信息的阅读能力和一定的写作能力,我所教授的本班学生为文科班,语言能力普遍较差,因此在教学活动和内容上,注重面向全体学生,使不同层次的学生都能参与到教学活动中来,并在英语运用能力上有所提高。四、教学重点及难点教学重点:让学生运用本单元所学的信息,词汇和相关表达方式,进行口头,笔头描述。教学难点:学生能够运用描述地点的相关词汇,句型,完成描述性的写作任务。五、教学过程教师活动学生活动设计意图Step 1 warming upGre
