1、Book 8 Unit1课题：Book8 Unit1综合技能课一、教学内容分析本单元主要围绕具有多元文化的美国这一主题展开，其中重点介绍了加利福尼亚州的多元文化特征。本单元有助于培养学生的跨文化交际意识，进一步拓宽国际视野，为终身学习奠定良好基础。本节课这一单元的第五节课，学完本单元基础知识和课文之后对于学生的reading，speaking and writing的综合技能提高训练。教学内容是让学生了解描述地点的词汇和表达方式，并能介绍一个自己熟悉的城市景点。二、教学目标1 学生能够阅读获取描述旅游景位置、大小、人口、历史、著名景点等方面的信息和相关语言2 学生能从地理位置，历史，著名景点等
2、方面口头描述阅读材料中的旅游城市。3 学生能够在教师的引导下，归纳并有运用所学词汇，句型及相关信息完成描述性的写作任务三、学情分析学生已经具备了一定的用英语获取信息，处理信息的阅读能力和一定的写作能力，我所教授的本班学生为文科班，语言能力普遍较差，因此在教学活动和内容上，注重面向全体学生，使不同层次的学生都能参与到教学活动中来，并在英语运用能力上有所提高。四、教学重点及难点教学重点：让学生运用本单元所学的信息，词汇和相关表达方式，进行口头，笔头描述。教学难点：学生能够运用描述地点的相关词汇，句型，完成描述性的写作任务。五、教学过程教师活动学生活动设计意图Step 1 warming upGre
