1、China and the European Union has issued a joint communiqu on a stronger comprehensive strategic partnership between the two sides at the ongoing China-EU Business Summit in Brussels. Leaders of both sides have reached consensus on a broad range of issues, including resolving trade disputes through n
2、egotiation and consultation on the basis of equality.Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao says China and the EU should vigorously promote the liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment, and at the same time, stand firm against protectionism.Outdated export control policies should be abolished as
3、soon as possible, and trade relief measures should be refrained. There is an urgency to boost two-way investment. China is willing to start negotiations on China-EU investment agreement at an early date, and properly handle practical issues in peoples concerns, such as market access, the transparenc
4、y of policy and IPR protection.Wen Jiabao says the two sides should boost collaboration in infrastructure, technological innovation and urbanization, and strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges.Concerning Europes debt crisis, Wen Jiabao says China stands ready to provide continued support
5、.Europe is on the right track in tackling its debt issue. And what is crucial now is to fully implement all the policy measures.
