2、示曾经学过的职业图片,学生开火车说出表示职业的单词。2.在复习单词的基础上,教师和学生问答有关职业的对话。T: Whats his/her job?S: He/ She is a farmer/doctor/cook/nurse.Step 2:Presentation1.教师介绍“Lets try”的背景,引导学生带着问题听“Lets try”部分的听力,并核对答案,再次播放听力,让学生能听懂问题的关键信息。2.教师出示“Lets talk”部分的挂图,让学生猜一猜。T:Whos that man?S:He is Olivers father.T:What is his job?S:He is

He is a businessman.”,并用拆分法讲解businessman=business +man。T:Which country is he from?S:He is from England.板书country。3.教师边出示其他职业的图片,边和学生对话,并进行单词讲解,如:She is a head teacher,运用意思分解的方法讲解head teacher=head(头)+teacher(教师)=校长。T:Do you
4、want to be a head teacher? 引导学生回答:Yes, I do./No, I dont.4.教师播放“Lets talk”部分的录音,并思考:(1)What does Olivers father do?(2)What does Olivers mother do?核对答案,并引导听取重点信息,再次播放听力,让学生跟读,学习正确的语音语调。Step 3:Consolidation and extension1.二人一组,戴上人物头饰,并表演对话。2.出示不同的图片和不同职业的单词,如taxi driver, cleaner, writer, singer, dancer
5、, football player, 要求学生将图片和对应的职业单词或短语相连。3.二人一组运用句型:What does he/she do? He/she is a/an操练对话。Step 4:Homework跟读“Lets talk”部分的对话,并向他人介绍自己父母的工作。Unit 5 What does he do?Part A: Lets try & Lets talk这个工作可让学生分组负责收集整理,登在小黑板上,每周一换。要求学生抽空抄录并且阅读成诵。其目的在于扩大学生的知识面,引导学生关注社会,热爱生活,所以内容要尽量广泛一些,可以分为人生、价值、理想、学习、成长、责任、友谊、爱
6、心、探索、环保等多方面。如此下去,除假期外,一年便可以积累40多则材料。如果学生的脑海里有了众多的鲜活生动的材料,写起文章来还用乱翻参考书吗?What does he do? He is a businessman.What does your mother do? She is a head teacher.教师范读的是阅读教学中不可缺少的部分,我常采用范读,让幼儿学习、模仿。如领读,我读一句,让幼儿读一句,边读边记;第二通读,我大声读,我大声读,幼儿小声读,边学边仿;第三赏读,我借用录好配朗读磁带,一边放录音,一边幼儿反复倾听,在反复倾听中体验、品味。Country businessman本课时主要学习运用英语询问和回答职业的口语交际,通过复习以前学过的职业单词,自然过渡,引出今天所要学的有关职业的句子和单词,并通过大量的句子来练习巩固所学的重点句型,学生除了可以在课堂上练习本单元的重点句型,还可以与家长练习,这样不仅巩固了句型,也加强了学生与家长的交流。
