5、at the blackboard 看黑板;see可表示多种意义的看,如:see a film 看电影; see a doctor 看医生,等等。如:He looked at the blackboard but he couldnt see any words on it.他看着黑板,但看不见一个字。3) notice的意思是用眼睛或其他感官或感觉注意,译成注意到或看到。如:I notice the boys playing basketball on the playground after school. 放学后我注意到男孩子们在操场上打篮球。4) watch的意思是仔细认真地跟踪运动着
6、的目标,译成观看或监视。如: He often watches TV on Saturdays. 他经常在星期六看电视。 I watched a live football match on TV last night. 昨天晚上我在电视上看了一场现场直播的足球赛。5) stare和glare虽然都有瞪眼之意,但stare表示由于吃惊、害怕或深思而睁大眼睛看,译成盯着看,注视,凝视;而glare表示由于生气睁大眼睛用强烈的目光看,译成向人瞪眼,怒目注视,另外,glare还有发出强烈的光之意。如: Crusoe stared at the footprint,full of fear. 克鲁索盯着脚印,满心恐惧。Suddenly he saw two eyes glaring at him out of the darkness. 突然他看到黑暗中有两只眼睛对他怒目而视。 The sun glared out of the blue sky. 太阳透过蓝天放出万道光芒。
