4、of 22 working days.Zhou Dadi, head of the China Energy Research Society, doesnt think the latest change will have a huge impact.When international crude prices drop by 1 US dollar, the cost of international crude oil imports decreases by 5 million US dollars every day. However, an international crude price drop indicates that the worldwide economy is still in a slump.Experts say that the price cuts will help smaller enterprises with their operating costs, especially those in the transportation, agriculture and fishing industries.Liao Huabing is a driver w
6、ith a logistics company. He says the fuel price cut will save him nearly 1,000 yuan a month.We usually drive a round trip of about 300 kilometers, and we pay about 250 yuan in fuel. But, with the price cuts, we can save more than 20 yuan a trip. That means we can save more than 900 yuan a month.Liao

If each truck saves 1,000 yuan in fuel a month, they can save 300,000 yuan each month.Since May 2009, Chinas gasoline benchmark retail price has been adjusted 18 times, including 11 increases and 7 drops.Experts say that the latest cuts are in respon
8、se to data from the consumer price index, a major inflation indicator.
