72、orted up to fifteen inches of rain in a twenty-four hour period with high winds and heavy storms. Heavy snow was reported in the Rocky Mountains district with record cold temperatures. As much as a foot of snow has fallen in some of the mountain stations; however, temperatures in Arizona and in the southwest desert will be over the 39-degree mark again today under bright, sunny skies.21
