16、act connected peoples lives. From the fourth one, we know near the end of the Qing Dynasty, the conditions in Beijings hutongs went down. From the last paragraph we know hutongs are still an important part of Beijing life and they attract many tourists each year. Step IV ExplanationDuring this proce

17、dure, play the tape for students. Students will underline the difficult sentences.Deal with language problemsT: Now well deal with some difficult language focuses. Remember to include a title and the most important information from each of the paragraphs.

After the Peoples Republic of China was set up, conditions in Beijings hutongs improved. Now, hutongs are still an important part of Beijing. They attract many tourists each year.
