1、必修 Unit 4 Global warming The second period The analysis of teaching materials(教材分析):This is the first period of this unit. In this period, students are expected to retell the contents of the reading passage. The purpose is to review the passage and further understand the contents of the texts. At th

2、e same time, students can have chance to practice their oral English. After that, it is very necessary to deal with the language points in the Warning up and reading passage, which helps the students to enlarge their vocabulary and strengthen their English basic skills. Whats more, there are some ex

3、ercises designed to consolidate these words and expressions.Vocabulary and some important sentence patterns play an important role in learning English. So this class will focus on reviewing the words and phrases of this unit to enlarge the students vocabulary, such as tend, state, range, glance, ave

4、rage, circumstance, and so on. At the same time, this class will get the students to recite ten simple sentences. The analysis of students(学情分析):Most of our students vocabulary is limited, and they are not very interested in English learning. Besides, they are not very willing to recite words and se

5、ntences by themselves after class. So we must pay more attention to this and try our best to help them remember more words and expressions. 三维目标 1. Knowledge: Learn and master the new words and expressions in this period. Words: tend, state, range, glance, average, circumstance Phrases: come about,

6、subscribe to, quantities of, result in, be opposed to, on behalf of Sentences: Even if we start reducing the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, the climate is going to keep on warming for decades or centuries. It is OK to leave an electrical appliance on so long as you are using it

7、2. Ability: Enable the students to the contents of the texts in English. Enable the students to use the new words and expression freely.3. Emotion: Further understand the main idea of the text. Encourage the students to enlarge their vocabulary and strengthen their English basic skills. Develop the
