1、必修一unit4 Reading for Writing 导学案Part I课前导读内容分析 (Content analysis)活动主题(Activity Theme): 该板块的活动主题是“写摘要”(Write a summary)。求学生在读完关于海啸的新闻报道之后,参考教科书中提供的摘要示范,为单元主篇阅读“The Night the Earth Didnt Sleep”编写摘要。写摘要是课标就应用类文体对学生提出的写作要求之一,它能培养学生提炼关键信息以及概括、归纳要点的高阶思维能力,同时还是培养和提高学生分析、归纳、总结等思维能力的重要方法。文本分析(Text Analysis):
2、阅读文本是一则专题新闻。文本语言属于即时性的新闻报道。从首句中的 yesterday可以推断,新闻发布于海啸的第二天,体现了新闻报道的时效性。最后一段提到后续伤亡人数可能会增加,以及救援工作的困难,突出了灾难的严重性,也提示了还会有后续的跟踪报。文本语言表达准确、简明扼要,只讲述具体事实,不带感情色彩,通过数字说明受灾第二天的损失和伤亡情况。新闻报道的语言需要高度凝练且表达有力。语篇中与灾害有关的一系列的使用也凸显了这一特点,例如:crashed into、were swept away、struck、the number of death. stood at.were affected、ha
3、d been killed、were found dead、were missing,等等。文章标题醒目,直接说明事件,能让读者马上获知新闻报道的主要内容。文本交代了海啸发生的时间、地点、范围、原因、受灾情况,以及救援行动等。不同于简短的新闻报道,专题报道的文本更丰富,如加入了当地居民和官员的话语,加强了真实感。 此外,该文本的设计和配图都是英文报刊的常见形式,报纸名称、新闻标题、记者姓名和发稿日期都出现在版面上。活动设计(Activity Design):读写板块整体设计严密,各个活动前后相连,从活动1到活动4逐渐推进,引导学生从阅读专题新闻开始,过渡到感知新闻摘要的写作要点,最后到完成摘要
4、写作任务并和同伴互评。活动1用When、What 、Why三个问题让学生关注文本的基本信息。活动2帮助学生总结和掌握新闻摘要的要点:日期、时刻、地点、事件、起因、后果、可能的后续活动等。活动3帮助学生掌握写摘要的步骤和思路。新闻摘要写作一般包括以下步骤:1.阅读文本,摘选关键信息;2.总结文本各段大意;3.组织语言,试写摘要;4.修改内容,定稿作品。教科书中还提供了摘要的基本特征,即摘要长度往往是文本的三分之一,内容只包括文本中的重要信息或事例教学重点(Teaching Focus)Help students master the main points and language featur

Activity 4Extension Activity(拓展活动)拓展活动1教师可以将练习册中的阅读文章“The Storyofan Eyewitness”布置为课后阅读任务,并要求学生写出摘要。对于学有余力的学生,教师可以让他们在课后通过阅读英文报刊或浏览网站。查找与自然灾害相关的最新报道,并写出摘要。教师可以将学生的摘要在班内进行展示和交流也可以让学生将摘要展示在班级多媒体交流平台上。拓展活动2教师让学有余力的学生选读练习册Expanding Your World中的语篇“China to the Rescue”。教师也可以组织学生阅读当天的英文报纸,让学生选择其中的新闻报道并编写摘要。
