1、Unit 1 Breaking records第一部分金色教案教学设计说明About the topic and the structures单元话题和结构本单元的话题是“创记录”。介绍了一位创造和申报吉尼斯世界纪录的奇人的奇特事迹。据说每年全球各地成千上万人申报吉尼斯世界纪录，仅在2001年就有6万人申报了纪录，成功的大有人在。目前从申报资料的统计结果来看，申报最多的地区依次为美国、英国、澳大利亚和印度。贯穿于本单元的句法项目是“词语/短语/不定式/从句做主语”。写作项目是：人物档案。金色教案教学设计在单元课时划分上与课本保持一致，即“阅读课、知识课、运用课三课时/三课型划分”。但在实际教学
2、过程中，我们建议教师依据学生基础、教学条件、学校安排的因素，对课本、对金色教案教学设计重新划分课时、裁剪、拼接使用我们提供的材料，以便“物尽所用”，达到最佳教学效果。教师也可以按照我们提出的“实际教学过程课时划分建议”进行教学。Period 1Reading 阅读课Warming Up “热身”的目的是为阅读在一定程度上作好话题、词汇和结构的准备，激发学生相关的背景知识和学习兴趣。对此我们提供了Warming up by learning about “records”， Warming up by celebrating Guinness World Records day和Warming
3、up by getting to know what Guinness World Records is三种不同的“热身”设计供教师选用。实际操作中还需要教师动用诸如板书、投影等辅助手段，以达到最佳教学效果。Pre-reading 部分帮助学生了解What is hula hoping? What is jumping jack?
