1、2016年教学设计英语科Module 6 Unit 1 Art Reading 教学设计 一、教材简析 本单元以Art为主题, 主要介绍了西方绘画简史,描写了曼哈顿最好的艺术长廊。帮助学生了解更多有关美术的背景知识,分析中西方艺术史上各大流派的特点,指出其代表性的画家和作品,并对中西方绘画艺术进行比较。最后要求学生为当地举办的一场别开生面的画展提出合理化建议。 Warming Up部分要求学生运用相关的目标语言对自己所喜欢的艺术形式和艺术流派展开讨论,并说明喜欢的原因。 Pre-reading让学生讨论有关画展或书中的艺术作品以及西方不同历史时期的著名画家。 Reading介绍了西方绘画简史上

2、不同历史时期的艺术流派、艺术特点及其代表性的画家和作品等。 Comprehending要求学生在理解课文的基础上,写出三件有关西方艺术史的事并指出西方艺术风格变化大的原因。 Learning about Language由Discovering useful words and expressions 和Discovering useful structures两部分组成。要求学生对课文进行概括和总结,找出所提供单词的词根,并学习虚拟语气在条件状语从句中的运用。 Using Language是由Reading, Listening, Discussing 和Writing四部分组成,通过对学生

3、听说读写综合能力的培养,要求学生在了解艺术长廊相关知识的基础上,为当地举办的一场别开生面的画展提出合理化建议。 本节课是人教版选修六第一单元的一节精读阅读课,结合了Warming up, Pre-reading, Reading和Reading comprehension四个部分。 二、学情分析 本单元的话题“Art”是学生非常熟悉的,作为高二实验班的学生,他们具备一定的背景知识,包括中国著名的画家和画作,相对而言,他们对西方艺术了解得还不多也不够深入。因此,在教学中,教师结合多媒体,通过不同类别、不同时期的直观图片的视觉冲击,学生比较容易产生兴趣,在课堂活动的准备和参与方面,他们都能在老师的

4、引导下表现出一定的积极主动性。他们渴望更多地了解西方的艺术,并能够就艺术这个话题展开讨论,发表个人的意见和看法。 三、设计理念 本着普通高中英语课程标准强调课堂教学注重学生自主性、互动性、探究性的原则,首先运用任务型教学法,课前布置学生上网搜索与东西方艺术有关的信息资料,在教学过程中完成相关的教学任务。 其次,重视语篇教学。本篇文章主要介绍了西方绘画简史上不同历史时期的艺术流派、艺术特点及其代表性的画家和作品等。根据文章特点,从文章体裁入手,采用表格、中心句引导学生分析语篇段落结构,把握文章主题脉络,并深入语篇,归纳出不同阶段的艺术特点。 第三、加强阅读技巧的训练。设计跳读、速读、细读等教学方

5、法培养学生不同的阅读方式和策略,由浅入深,由表及里,先篇章后语义的顺序进行阅读。 最后,设计了读后活动,让学生合作性讨论自己家最喜欢的艺术风格和原因,充分发挥学生的想象力、创造力和合作精神,懂得如何去欣赏艺术,竞争机制的引入也让课堂气氛非常活跃。然后以语篇方式回顾课文内容,检验学生的课堂效果,加深学生对课文的印象。 由于Warming Up, Pre-reading, Reading和Comprehending四部分都是关于西方绘画简史的内容,可以整合为一节阅读精读课。在阅读教学中通过设计活动、任务完成、互助探究等,结合新课标对学生能力的要求,兼顾多种能力的培养设计成了一节阅读精读课, 整个教

6、学设计都贯穿对学生情感、态度和价值观的正面教育。 四、教学目标 1.
