Last Saturday, my mother bought a pair of jeans for me. 上周末,我妈妈给我买了条牛仔裤。 buy sth. for sb. 相当于 buy sb. sth. 意为“给某人买某物”。 My mother bought me a pair of jeans = My mother bought a pair of jeans for me. 我妈妈给我买了一条牛仔

8、裤。 【比较】He gave me a pair of jeans. = He gave a pair of jeans to me. 他给了我一条牛仔裤。 那么什么时候用for, 什么时候用to 呢?常与介词to 搭配的动词有:bring, give, lend, offer, pass, sell, show, sing, take, teach, tell, write等。常与介词for 搭配的动词有:buy, cook, cut, find, fix, get, make, keep, save, set 等。 【注意】 当buy sb. sth. 或 give sb. sth. 中的

9、sth. 为代词时,只能用buy sth. for sb. 或 give sth. to sb. 。 他为她买的它。 (正) He bought it for her. (误) He bought her it. 他把它们给了她。(正)He gave them to her. (误) He gave her them.
