1、教学设计(人教版必修2)Module 2 Unit2 The Olympic Games Reading and Speaking 教师:李映红班级:高一(1)班课题名称:Unit 2 The Olympic Games -Reading and Speaking教材版本:人教版必修2 授课时间: 40分钟一、学情分析1、 本班为高一年级(1)班,多数学生对英语感兴趣,能积极参加课堂上的各种活动:如讨论、 回答问题等;2、 本班大部分学生有一些模糊的阅读理解方法,但未能形成明确的有用方法;3、 学生刚进入高一学习,限于其词汇量及英语句式,虽然他们有一定的奥运知识,但对于与运动有关的古希腊神话故

2、事欠了解,并且用一个完整的英语句子表达自己有一定的难度.4、 对于一部分学习较吃力的同学,尽量让其在合作学习的模式下也能参与学习,设计任务时由易到难,难易适中,在活动过程中给予必要的支持和鼓励。二、教材分析本节课是新标准英语(人教版)必修二Unit 2 The Olympic Games里的第二篇阅读理解。课题取材于古希腊神话故事-希腊公主Atlanta不满于奥运会禁止妇女参加的规定,所以与国王约定:她要与男子比赛跑步,男子赢了,公主就嫁给他;如输了就得被处死。英雄希波墨涅斯(Hippomenes)在爱神的帮助下用计在同公主的赛跑中获胜,而得以娶她为妻。主要学习内容是阅读理解题,主要引导学生学

3、会“读前”预测,关注记叙文的写作特点并思考故事的情节将如何发展。在“读时”,引导学生重点关注五个Wh-问题,了解其故事大意。在“读后”,学生参与讨论,思考自己如果是其中主人公,会怎么做。学生还可以学习续接故事,设计故事结尾,并将其表演出来,旨在加强学生的参与性和自主性,并学会团队合作。三、教学目标知识目标: 学生通过阅读和小组活动了解希腊公主Atlanta与国王的约定、英雄希波墨涅斯(Hippomenes)如何获得爱神的帮助参与比赛的。能力目标:1.学生能通过预览标题预测(predict)课文内容。(预测能力)2.学生能通过记叙文的文体特点,利用skimming 和scanning等阅读方法来

4、寻找相关信息。(阅读能力)3.学生能在根据故事情节发展进行故事续接与表演(理解能力与听说能力。情感目标:通过学习,学生了解希腊神话故事与奥运相关知识,让学生了解西方文化以及热爱运动。四、 教学重点了解古希腊神话故事和其中的一些著名人物;熟悉记叙文的行文特点,了解希腊公主与英雄希波墨涅斯(Hippomenes)之间的故事是如何发展的,并利用skimming 和scanning等阅读方法来寻找相关信息。五、 教学难点在阅读文章中学会如何根据故事的发展,合理的续接故事并得体地用英语表达自己。六、教学方法任务教学法,小组合作学习七、教学用具多媒体,课本,学案八、教学步骤Teaching procedu
