1、应用文 在初中阶段，英语应用文主要包括书信（电子邮件）、日记、通知、便条、发言稿、调查报告、倡议书、海报、广告等。应用文通常有一定的格式，而且不同类型的应用文，其格式也不同。所以掌握一些应用文的格式并能熟练运用非常重要。应用文的总体写作要求是：格式正确、语言简洁、精炼，无语法及词语搭配错误。第一节 书信（电子邮件） 写作要求书信具有格式较固定、实用性强、适用范围广泛等特点。英文书信一般由以下几部分组成： 1. 信头：即写信人的地址和写信日期，要写在信纸的右上角。顺序是先写地址，后写日期。地址按照由小写到大的顺序书写，即门牌号街名城市省份国名。如“江西省万载县康乐镇田下路159号”，英文写法是：
2、159 Tianxia Road，Kangle Town，Wanzai County，Jiangxi Province；日期可按“日月年”的顺序或“月日年”的顺序写。 2. 称呼：指对收信人的称呼，写在信纸的左上角，顶格写；称呼后面的标点一般用逗号。3. 正文：是信件的主体部分。写在称呼的下一行，常在缩进两个空格处起笔。正文第一段也可以顶格写，但以后各段应空两格。4. 结束语：指正文下面的结尾客套话。写在书信正文结尾下面低两行的位置上。一般它均从正中或偏右处写起。结束语的第一个字母必须大写，后面须加上逗号。常用的结束语有Yours sincerely，yours，Sincerely yours
