The results suggest that noise pollution has previously unknown consequences for wild creatures. Prof Chris

Researchers set the bird tasks both in a quiet setting and a noisy setting with a record of road traffic.Prof Templeton explained that just hearing a car drive by was enough to affect their perf

In another test, the birds had to work out the way into a pipe that had a piece of food inside. Professor Templeton said they were almost twice as likely to do the tasks correctly if they don

Its getting really difficult to find totally quiet environments not touched by human noise. But we can change road surfaces, or think about redesigning a vehicles tires. Theres great possibility for trying to reduce noise.
