Point out that the rubric states their reason for reading. Elicit that they are to fi
6、nd out why the writer thinks of her grandma every Christmas.Ask students to skim the story to find keywords related to Christmas, such as presents, Father Christmas, snow, decorations, and sugar biscuits.(2) Allow students time to read the story independently, or call on volunteers to read sentences
7、 aloud.Remind students of their reason for reading and ask them to state their reasons why. Step 3:Underline the writers memories of her grandma and tell your partner.(1) Ask students what kind of events the writer mentioned in the story. Elicit that the writer mentions minor details.
