87、xperiments carefully again and again. Finally in 1902 she and her husband succeeded in finding the radioactive element-radium. Their achievement won them the Nobel Prize for physics in 1903. In 1911, she won another Nobel Prize, all by herself in chemistry. Thus she became the first female scientist to win two Nobel Prizes.
