How to read a persuasive essay.设计思想 本节课的学习目的,第一希望学生们了解模块8第1单元Appreciating literature的一些信息,并通过scanning and skimming的阅读策略完成一些阅读问题,以此来加深学生对于本文内容的理解和掌握。第二通过对本课的学习从而激发并升华学生对于文学的热爱。前置性补偿部分主要是通过学生对于中外文学名著的了解来引入我们本课的学习,激

3、发学生对于文学的兴趣。新知探究部分主要是对本单元文章内容的掌握和理解。通过一些问题的设置一方面锻炼阅读策略,一方面掌握更多关于文章内容的信息。形成性检测,通过一个紧扣高考题型Task-based reading 的形式当堂检测学生对本节课的掌握情况,另一方面是让学生能找出文章中出现的好的短语,来学习借鉴。最后是后续性矫正,通过一篇拓展性背景资料,来实践阅读策略,提高学生的阅读理解能力。学生们在完成的过程中,遇到什么困难或疑惑,可以把问题记录在“预习问题单”中。在课上提出来进行讨论,师生共同探讨。对学习基础较好的同学,可以指导学生阅读课本,提出问题,分组讨论解决问题。这样既调动了学生学习的积极性

They buy vast numbers of newspapers and magazines and of books - especially paperbacks, which are still c
