He/She is a/an”1.四会单词的读音。2.让学生在任务活动对话中熟练运用不同句型进行交流。单词卡片、课件、录音机和磁带(或其他课本配套音频设备)等2课时一、 Warm-up & Revision1. 教师用单词卡片快速出示以前学过的职业类单词doctor、teacher、nurse、driver、farmer等及其相应图片,每一张给学生看三秒钟,然后遮住

3、英文让学生进行抢答。2.快问快答游戏。S1:Whats your fathers job?S2:He is a teacher.Whats your mothers job?S3:She is a nurse.Whats your mothers job?S4:She is a driver.S5:.比比谁的反应迅速,谁的发音标准。二、Presentation & PracticeLets learn1.教师展示一张工厂工人的照片,向大家说:“She is a factory worker.”然后带读词组factory worker。接着教师带入重点句子:What does she do? S

4、he is a factory worker.2.教师再展示邮递员图片,同时展示单词postman,带读两次。教师问:“What does he do?” 引导学生回答:“He is a postman.”3.类似地,再学习剩下两个新词。4.同学分成两人一组,运用所学句型交替进行问答练习,如:A:What does he do?B:He is a postman.B:What does she do? A:She is a police officer.5. 教师播放Lets learn部分的录音,学生跟读。Listen,match and say1.要求学生浏览文本,找出关键词,抓听重点。2

5、.听录音,找出正确答案进行连线。3.师生进行答案核对。Unit 5 What does he do?factory worker postmanbusinessman police officer What does he do?Hes a businessman.一、Warm-up & Revision 延续上次课内容,教师利用多媒体课件出示人物职业图片,学生分组操练“What does he/she do?” 句型。如:S1:What does he do?S2:He is a businessman.S1:What does she do?S2:She is a teacher.二、Pr

6、esentation & PracticeLets try1.教师引导学生看教材上Lets try部分的内容,播放录音,学生带着问题听录音,选择正确答案。2.教师核对答案。再次播放录音,让学生从录音中找出回答问题的关键信息点,让学生尽量复述录音原文。Lets talk1.教师播放课文录音,学生边听边看边思考“What does Olivers father/mother do?”2.学生讨论问题,得出答案,教师选2-3人进行回答。3.教师讲解新词汇country和head teacher。教师询问学生:“Am I your teacher or head teacher?” 板书并领读词组he

7、ad teacher,通过拆分法解释其含义。教师问学生:“Do you want to be a head teacher?” 引导学生回答:“Yes,I do./No,I dont.”教师拓展句型:Do you want to be a/an?Yes,I do./No,I want to be a/an教师板书并教读这个句型。学生以小组为单位,一问一答操练此句型,如:Sl:Do you want to be a doctor?S2:Yes,I do./No,I want to be a postman.4.再次播放Lets talk部分的录音,学生一边听一边跟读,教师点拨发音不准的地方。全班跟读熟练后,再分组分角色朗读。Do you want to be a/an?Yes,I do./No,I want to be a/an 本部分重点学习的是四种新的职业表达和学会询问对方的职业。用表演做动作的形式在预热阶段调动学生的学习兴趣,同时又给学生提供了复习旧知识的机会,趣味性的练习使学生学英语不再单调,更利于学生接受。
