4、ers died in the fighting.However, new research suggests that the dead numbered about 750,000.In 1868, about 5,000 people gathered at Arlington National Cemetery on the edge of Washington, DC.They decorated more than 10,000 graves of Union and Confederate soldiers.They called it Decoration Day.The tr
