6、讨论。2先邀请几位同学朗读短文,教师要注意发音,及时纠正。然后播放录音,全班同学一起跟读。3短文内容巩固练习。让学生用自己的话复述短文内容,然后邀请若干同学给出自己的答案。4完成教材3b的任务,要求学生再次阅读短文,用3b方框中所给的单词完成句子。设计意图:将听、说、读、写的任务结合起来,不仅锻炼了学生的语言综合运用能力,还巩固了学生对目标语言的学习、识记和运用。【知识点拨】This is not only cruel,but also harmful to the environment.这不仅残忍,而且对环境有害。not only but also表示“不仅而且”,用于连接两个性质相同的词
7、或短语。在使用not onlybut also时还应注意以下几点:(1)该结构中的also有时可以省略。(2)当not onlybut also连接两个主语时,谓语动词的数原则上与其相近的主语保持一致。(3)为了强调,可将not only置于句首,此时其后的句子通常要用部分倒装的形式。Without a fin,a shark can no longer swim and slowly dies.没有了鱼鳍,鲨鱼再也不能游泳并且会慢慢死掉。辨析no longer与no more (1)no longer中的longer是副词long的比较级,longer有after a certain poi
