Even when women do the same work, they are often paid less than men. Women want these things changed. The womens liberation movement was started by women who didnt want to stand behind successful men. They wanted to stand beside men, with the same chance for success. The movement is quite new, and many American women do not agree with its purpose. But it has already made several changes in womens lives, and in mens lives, too.
