5、protect the people from the elephants.The elephants break it and walk into farms and villages.They eat up bananas.Sometimes they kill farmers.Mr.Chang is here to protect the elephants but hes also sympathetic (同情心)to the sufferings of the farmers.He is doing what he can to prevent elephants from dam
