We sorted through dozens of hot dog stands and restaurants in search of the best in America. In order to be included, the vendor(卖主) needed to have a

4、 trademark(商标) dog, with toppings that add something extra. For example, Bens Chili Bowl in Washington, D. C. doesnt only have a trademark frank (the half-smoke), but it also has a trademark topping(chili). It is thought highly of by locals and professional eaters alike, and eating there is a great

5、experience. For these reasons, its high on our list. Sadly, there were some famous stands that didnt make the cut. While the original Nathans Famous in Coney Island might very well be the most well-known hot dog stand in America, it didnt win a place on our best American hot dog list. The stands tha

6、t serve the best hot dogs are those ancient stands that have been serving the same exact product day in and day out for many years.
