2D根据后半句went away without looking at a third one,说明上两件都没选中,为完全否定,故选D项,both用在此处为两者的部分否定;any与all用于三者或三者以上。3Abe in power在执政,当权,表示一种状态;come to power上台,执政,表示动作;take office任职。由句中的for ten years可知选A。

、伸,保持双膝直立。straight adj.“直的”,符合句意。6Bearn ones living 意为“谋生”,为固定短语。7D考查非谓语动词。句意:四面八方的人们涌向这座城市,使它非常拥挤。 making在句中是vt.ing形式作结果状语。8B句意:导火线已经烧到尽头,炸弹就要爆炸了,让我们躲远点。explode“爆炸”,符合句意。expose“使暴露”;express“表达”;explore“探索”。9C句意:如果你读书的开头,你会发现作者写的简介。brief简短的。10B考查短语的构成和辨析。clear away把废除;clear up收拾,清理;break away突然走开,放弃;

、 see the point of building a library that resembles a mailbox.” 根据第五段第一句“.the family hung a signboard on the front,instructing users to take a book,return a book,and making.”

、对图书馆的最后装点”与原文中的“After adding the librarys final touches.” 根据倒数第二段“Since then,the collection keeps replenishing itself,thanks to ongoing donations from borrowers.The library now gets an average of five visits a day.”

.1.Many graduates dont earn their living by themselves but depending on their parents.2We still dont know who will come to power in America.3Its wrong to keep the water running.4His son turned thief,surprising everyone in the town.5Not both of us are against the plan.- 10 - 版权所有高考资源网
