The results showed that each enhancer deletion caused a distinct set of differences in the shape of the face-for example, causing an increase or decrease in facial length or width.In fact, s

14、cientists first noticed the existence of gene enhancer long ago, but they called them. junk DNA back then because they didnt produce prcteins and were thought to have no biological function.
