5、d dreamed of such things as fried chicken and rice, and ice-cream. In the never-ending damp heat of the jungle, ice-cream was a particularly frequent dream. As for water, there was a choice: we could drink the muddy river water, or die of thirst. We drank the water. Men who have just escaped what ha

Around 1926, Margaret Mitchell had stopped working as a reporter and was at home healing after an injury. Her husband brought her books to read from the library. She read so ma

16、ny books that he bought her a typewriter and said it was time for her to write her own book. And then Gone with the Wind became a huge success.
