Can you ? Lets begin .二、先学环节(15分钟)过渡语:First look

3、at the guides carefully and then finish the tasks step by step.(一)出示自学指导1.熟记单词,完成自学检测(1) 2.读课文,完成自学检测(2)和Lets do it (二)自学检测反馈 I背写本课单词(英语、词性、汉语意思)(1)_(2)_(3)_ (4)_(5)_(6)_.读课文,找出本课短语并翻译:1. 5、英语打电话时,如果要问对方“你是吗?”一般用:Is that/this? Is that/thisspeaking? 其中that 表示打电话的另一方。不能说Are you ?回答时也要说:Yes, this isspeaking. Yes, is speaking.是的,我是(在讲话)。 No, it isnt. He/she isnt here at the moment. 不,不是。他/她此刻不在。 要某人接电话一般用: Can I speak to , please? May I speak to , please? Could I speak to , please?请问我可以和讲话

6、吗? 回答是:Certainly./Sure./Of course.当然可以。 Hold on, please./A moment ,please./wait a minute, please.请稍等。 Im afraid he isnt here right now.恐怕他这会儿不在。 探究二:区分speak,say,talk,tell 1 tell 告诉,讲(及物动词), 指某人把某一件事、一条信息传送给别人或讲述一件事。如: tell sb. to do sth. / tell sb. not to do sth. tell意为告诉,对说。作及物动词,常用作tell sb. sth.=

7、tell sth. to sb. 意为“告知某人某事”。 当tell的宾语是a persona gamea success时,须用tell about。即:tell sb. about sth. (后常跟某人)。 tell还专指讲故事,说谎。例如: tell a story讲故事 tell a lie说谎 tell the time 报时 2 say 说 say是讲,说的意思,强调说话内容。一般作及物动词,常用于直接引述所说的话或间接叙述所说的话。 say to sb. “对.说”(不及物动词)。 It is said that. 意为“据说”。 3 speak speak讲话,发言(不及物动

8、词), speak at the meeting 在会议上发言 speak to sb. (不及物动词)意为“和.讲话、谈话”。 speak (及物动词),后面主要接语言。如: speak English speak Chinese说汉语 speak French说法语。 表示说到什么人或事,须用介词about of on引出的短语。(speak of 意为“提到、说起”, speak of something/somebody谈到某事(某人)) 4 talk 谈话(不及物动词) talk about sth.(谈论某事) talk with /to sb.(和某人交谈) 。如果只有一方对另一

9、方说话时,一般用 talk to;如果双方或多方交谈,多用 with。 speak to和 talk to可以通用,都表示“和.谈话”。 have a talk with 意为“与.交谈”。 give a talk做报告 have a talk听报告 (talk n.报告) 探究三:I cant follow you. (我不明白。) follow 跟着,接着 Please follow me, madam. 请跟我来,夫人。 They took him into a small room and I followed. 他们把他带到一个小房间,我跟了进去。 理解 I cant follow
