Now practice Activity 1 in groups of four, work together and try to sum up the functions and features of noun clauses an

26、hing the questions, teachers and students work together to sum up the use of “that”.“That” can be left out when a that-clause is the object of a sentence such as in Sentences 3 and 5.Also, when “it” is put at the beginning of a sentence and the real subject clause is put after the verb, “that” can b
27、e omitted too. After this, ask the students to do Activity 4. A few minutes later, ask some students to report their answers.Step Grammar (2) This procedure is designed to train the students ability of arranging words in a proper order in noun clauses as well as their ability to use noun clauses in
