2、从句叫定语从句（也叫形容词性从句）。定语从句分为：限制性定语从句（常可说成定语从句）和非限制性定语从句先行词：在复合句中被定语从句所修饰的词叫先行词。先行词一般为名词或代词。引导词：引导从句的的连词叫引导词。也可叫连接词。引导词可分为：关系代词和关系副词。引导词作用：引导从句；替代先行词；在从句中充当成分。关系代词有：that、which、who、whose、whom、as 关系副词有：where、when、whyStep Two判断下列句子是否含有定语从句，并把相关的定语从句画出（指出先行词、引导词）。I sat next to a girl whose name was Diana.I l

10、先行词前面有who, which等疑问代词时用that。如：Which is the dictionary that you want? 哪本是你要的字典？ Who is the man that is standing by the door? 站在门旁边的那个男人是谁？ 当先行词既有人又有物时，定语从句要用that而不用who (whom)和which引导。如：He talked about the teachers and schools that he had visited. 当关系代词在从句中作表语时： Mary is no longer the girl (that) she u
