When we write a narrative, we must include the following factors: the subject, the incident, the reason, the process, the place, and the result. Note how the text serves to separate the two visually related scenes. The slight use of shading, as in the bed curtains, for instance, is an example of outside influence on Chinese painting and came to China with Buddhism from India.
